Description

KUNR is a non-commercial, listener-supported public radio station providing northern Nevada and northeastern California with a stimulating and diverse mix of music, news, public affairs and cultural programming. KUNR serves its communities with thought-provoking discussion and perspectives that contribute to an informed citizenry in a way heard nowhere else in the region.

KUNR continues its tradition of strong, local programming, including its weekly public affairs program, High Desert Forum. Both full-time and part-time staff members, along with volunteer community commentators, are responsible for news, information and a variety of musical programming, including classical, jazz, reggae and blues.
