Piece Description
I took a stress test that seemed to include testing my stress level on getting to the stress test. Experimental sound. Kind of annoying. Public radio! Ha! I laugh at you for that thought! Of course not Public Radio. Not unless I ran the show. Be glad I don't. For more information and conversation, visit this feature on Transom.org.

Review of Stress TestI love it! This brilliant piece is hilarious and captures perfectly the stream of thought of a man on his way to and at a stress test at his cardiologists. As has been mentioned before, Mr. Anderson is the master of digression, something he displays perfectly in this piece. Highly recommended. |

Review of Stress TestThis one has a wonderfully lively style. The editing is pure pleasure and the narrative voice is smooth and real. I had a moment of wondering if it was going on too long, and the ending isn't quite the payoff I might have hoped for, but I was engaged all the way through and would air it on our station without hesitation as an ear refresher. -JA |

Everything was fine, EKG good, weight fine, cholesterol, heart rate, blood pressure, it?s all fine. I asked for a stress test anyway, so she referred me to a cardiologist. I?m 31, I?m in okay shape ? no one is awarding me prizes at the beach, but I?m okay. I want a stress test for peace of mind. Oh, and my deductible for the year? It?s been met. Let?s Party...

Review of Stress Test
This is brilliant. Hysterical. Music is perfect and chirping chorus of crickets at critical moments punctuates it nicely. And the voice is just perfect. Thanks. It made my day.
