A World of Possibilities is an award-winning nationally and internationally syndicated public affairs radio program produced by the Mainstream Media Project. The program features spirited conversations about essential global issues. Each week, this unique hour-long program examines a specific issue in depth with leading analysts, big picture thinkers and practical innovators from around the world. From the future of peace and alternatives to corporate globalization to civil liberties, renewable energy and sustainable consumption, the program offers fresh, solution-centered approaches to the most challenging problems we face as a people and planet. Hosted by MMP Executive Director Mark Sommer, the program features breakthrough conversations with key figures in the diverse social movements that are transforming our world. Each program is produced as a permanent educational resource to benefit journalists, students, researchers, educators, policymakers, and all those doing innovative work on urgent national and global issues. A World of Possibilities is distributed free of charge to broadcasters. It is available by satellite or in CD format by mail.
