Originally created by legendary newscaster Edward R. Murrow in the 1950s, This I Believe is a national media project that invites people from all walks of life to write and speak aloud brief essays describing the core values that guide their lives. The series creates a unique space in the media today: a space for truth without accusation, patriotism without political spin, and faith beyond religious dogma.
