As November, 2004 approaches, many Americans express concern that the outcome could be manipulated for partisan gain. Among the former inmates who have not been irreparably harmed by the prison experience are those who work from the outside upon release to improve conditions for those still inside. Listen to the stories of these ex-convicts who are helping others while still trying to move back into family and civic life.
